Long-range target indicator: The core optoelectronic equipment for modern long-range precise combat

In the fields of modernized precision combat and security reconnaissance, long-range target indicators are the core optoelectronic equipment that connects reconnaissance perception and firepower strike. Different from ordinary laser aiming devices, they can complete long-distance target calibration, precise distance measurement and weapon guidance outside the security zone, significantly enhancing combat efficiency and personnel safety.

This equipment mainly employs 1064nm near-infrared pulsed laser technology. It relies on a precise optical beam expanding system, a temperature-controlled laser generation module, and a stable servo observation and aiming structure to effectively counteract the beam attenuation and spot expansion caused by atmospheric turbulence, dust, and water vapor. The equipment can output a dedicated PRF encoded laser signal, providing continuous and precise irradiation to the target. The laser signal reflected by the target can only be recognized by the guided weapons with the matching encoded signal, completely avoiding cross-interference from multi-device collaborative operations and suitable for complex formation combat scenarios.

Meanwhile, the long-range target indicator integrates a high-precision ranging and positioning module, which can calculate the target's slant distance and three-dimensional coordinates in real time. Combined with day and night visible light and infrared sighting channels, it enables all-weather target search, locking, and indication, suitable for various operational scenarios. Currently, the equipment can be flexibly installed on unmanned aircraft pods, vehicle-mounted optoelectronic platforms, and shipboard sighting devices, and can also be used as a portable equipment for individual soldiers. It is widely applied in remote precision strikes, offshore security monitoring, field reconnaissance training, and real combat simulation and confrontation, etc.

With the iterative upgrades of photoelectric technology and artificial intelligence, long-range target indicators are continuously being optimized towards the directions of lightweight, low power consumption, anti-interference, and intelligent automatic tracking. In the future, this core photoelectric equipment will further break through environmental limitations and become an indispensable key device in the integrated precision combat system for land, sea, and air.
